Qualifications:
o Associates degree and 2 or more years of experience or Bachelor's degree.
Previous experience in an Analytical laboratory highly desirable.
o Excellent attention to detail.
o Good wet chemistry skills:
titration, filtration, dilution, extraction, gravimetric determinations.
o Knowledge of and experience with AA, ICP, UV/Vis spectrophotometers.
o Practical use of pH and specific ion electrode meters.
o Strong chemical math skills.
o Strong PC skills.
o Able to work in a fast pace environment.
o Strong people skills.
Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Contractor to assist our Analytical Research and Development Group with laboratory analysis and statistical calculations.
Applicants must be able to work in a fast paced environment and perform assignments with limited supervision.
Under the direction of the Analytical Team the Contractor will:
1.
Support Henkel's market leadership in adhesives, sealants and surface treatment by providing accurate and timely analytical chemistry services to external customers, Henkel technical service employees and R&D groups using equipment detailed below.
2.
Responsible for calibration and maintenance of instrumentation, record keeping and maintaining lab supplies inventory.
3.
Organize work assignments, meet deadlines and work effectively as a team member.
