Production Supervisor Manufacturing/Metal Finishing

Directly supervises up to 20 production employees on metal finishing lines. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures as well as applicable workplace laws. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, specific employee production line training; planning, assigning and directing workforce; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; working in a team environment; ensure total customer satisfaction by producing a good quality product that meets or exceeds our customers' expectations; maintain a safe, clean and organized work area at all times to ensure employee safety; complete necessary paperwork and reporting on a daily basis; meet production requirements.

Must have good oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills such as listening in order to make sound, confident decisions, has the ability to communicate with upper management to help grow and build our workforce with effective improvements to department procedures; strive to motivate employees to do the best they can do to ensure quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and promotes cost effectiveness; displays good judgment.
Education/Experience -
Associates degree from college or technical school certificate and/or 5 years supervisory experience or combination of education and experience. Plating/Metal Finishing knowledge is preferred. Computer skills and knowledge is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
