Application Engineer

Our client, a Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive supplier is looking for an Applications Engineer for their Fuels Division. This position will be located in Madison Heights, MI and will manage proper application of our client's Fuel System assemblies and components on advanced and production OEM systems with the additional responsibility of establishing and maintaining an engineering relationship with the customer thus being held accountable for the customers perception of our client's technical support capability.
This position reports into the Engineering Manager and will support technical reviews, provide internal and external design guidance, no design work is required, develop validation plans, etc.
Job Responsibilities
Summary:
Support Technical Reviews
Prototypes - Order prototype components & gaging
Quote - Review customer documentation, define Bill of Materials and provide material specifications, develop validation plan - cost and timing
Design - Interface with customer, plant process engineering and designer, write ECR's
Production - APQP coordinator, manage DV & PV validation testing, support customer launches and attend Customer PDT's
Minimum
Qualifications:
4 year Engineering degree and 5
years experience
OEM experience
Possess good communication skills, both orally and written
Be self-motivated and extremely organized
Must be able to work cross-functionally

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
