Meets company's expectations in regards to Safety,Quality,Productivity, GMP's,HR, and Housekeeping.
Manages and assigns the work of maintenance employees and inspects work for completion of task.
Assigns work orders, differentiate, and document on network,track percentage of completion.
Set schedules,keep time records,and other training documentation for each employee.
Assess performance of each team member periodically for review criteria.
Possess a thorough knowledge of food processing, manufacturing and automated packaging equipment.
Designs, updates, documents, and implements a preventive maintenance program and schedule to minimize downtime, improve efficiency, monitor spare parts, and critical spare parts in inventory sysytem.
Provide technical assistance and training where necessary.
Enforce all Safety policies, hot work programs, LOTO, as well as enforcement of GMP procedures within department and facility.
Project management of assigned areas for improvements or growth of the business/facility.
Coordinate projects with company approved vendors and contractors.
Ensure company rules and regulations are followed and enforced with any outside visitors or workers in and around the facility.
Have monthly departmental meetings.
Follow and enforce all company HR policies relating to guidelines and handbook requirements.
Identify opportunities for cost saving projects, and the reduction of budgetary spending within the facility.
Education:
Bachelors Degree, 10
years experience with Technical training preferred in Food Manufacturing enviroment.
