The Platform Manager is a bi-lingual, (Korean/English) sales professional in our Transportation and Metals Business responsible for developing and executing a regional/global Platform strategy(s) for their respective Key Account; including respective growth plans, targets and innovation road maps by Chassis, Powertrain, Interior, Exterior, Heating Vacuum and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Automotive
electronics
at the Key Account and its key suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a strong relationship network with decision makers at the Key Account as well as with key Tiered suppliers/partners to specific platforms.
Develop TOP Platform Targets with upstream value selling techniques for all aspects of customers business (on site and with key suppliers)
Direct Net External Sales (NES) & Profit Contribution (PC) by Steering Unit and market segment portfolios.
Understand our Innovation Pipeline that supports a first to market launch approach for targeted platforms.
Develop and manage a comprehensive list of CAPRIS projects and the Competitive Positioning for the company at target Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and key suppliers.
Achieve #1
position
in market share for targeted applications and achieve quota targets per platform.
Lead and coordinate commercial activities across the platform and communicate the voice of the customer within the company to channel all internal resources needed for success.
Participate in and/or perform customer training as well as at customer locations.
Review and understand complex customer components/projects and align proper resources to give sound technical design and technology advice to customers, field sales representatives, and other personnel.
Travel to customers in support of specific projects and applications as required.
Monthly reports of sales projects, activities and issues are required.
Qualifications
Education; Bachelors in Science or Business Administration. Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Preferred
Experience; 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in automotive technical sales, engineering or marketing.
Fluent in Korean and English languages
Knowledge and experience working with Hyundai/Kia
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills necessary.
The ability to think and work under minimal supervision is essential.
Up-to-date
computer
skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
