Summary:
The ERP Manager will manage the implementation of the ERP system in cooperation with outside consulting firm and will manage the ERP system once it is installed.
This includes working with department leaders to define requirements, coordinating the timeline for migration of data, and being the conduit of information between the consulting firm and internal business stakeholders throughout the process.
The ERP Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the ERP system after installation and ensuring that it continues to meet the evolving needs of the business.
This includes providing support to users, troubleshooting problems, and working with vendors to make any necessary changes to the system.
Responsibilities:
Work with department leaders to define requirements for the ERP system.
Coordinate the implementation of the ERP project in cooperation with the consulting firm, including scheduling and communicating with all parties throughout.
Maintain the ERP system after installation, to meet the needs of the business.
Develop and implement business automations and process improvements.
Troubleshoot problems and work with vendors to make any changes to the system.
Provide proactive and responsive customer service to internal customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in IT or Project Management (or similar field) required At least 5 years general IT experience At least 3 years IT experience supporting an ERP system At least 2 years Project Management experience PMP certification strongly preferred Must have led or held a primary support position in the successful implementation of a large ERP system in a complex environment Working knowledge of ERP-related initiatives and an understanding of the impact on the organization of such initiatives.
Experience/ knowledge of major ERP and HCM platforms.
Strong knowledge of definitions and uses of data, financial and reporting systems, information flow, and data architecture.
Competency in query functions and language, and basic data modeling Knowledge of all aspects of computing and communications including hardware infrastructure, networking, software, operations, and disaster recovery.
Understands how projects relate to other business strategies and initiatives.
Understands the cost impact of projects, project tracking tools, and metrics.
